UK publishers Bitmap Books has teamed up with SNK to bring us NEO GEO: A Visual History, an art book commemorating a legendary console that brought us innovative games and introduced many to some of the FGC’s most iconic characters. Bitmap Books are the creators of The Unofficial NES/Famicom: A Visual Compendium and Super Famicom: The Box Art Collection, two products similar to their upcoming SNK book, that you can check out by clicking their respective links.
NEO GEO: A Visual History is officially licensed and contains images of hardware photos, cover art, concept art and more. The hardback book is 400 pages and, reportedly, will be available in three different editions:
Standard Edition – £29.99
Collector’s Edition – £49.99 – Ships in a heavy board black slipcase with five A4 posters, two stickers and an enamel pin badge, only available for pre-order
MEGA Edition – £69.99 – Same package as the Collector’s Edition, but comes in a metallic gold slipcase and includes an exclusive “Memory Card Kid” black T-shirt. Limited to 330 copies, and comes with a stamped letter of authentication
