If you want to succeed in Street Fighter V, gotta hit the gym — and Gief’s Gym is a great guide to train up that Muscle Power. This supplement edition gives additional insight into each member of the SFV roster.

Frame 2:

Shoryuken review: ARMS reaches out to new players

Trilby doesn’t pull any punches in this look at Nintendo’s unique take on the fighting genre. Time will tell if ARMS has legs in the competitive scene.

Frame 3:
dbz srkFuture Trunks joining the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster

The sword-wielding time traveler Future Trunks has been confirmed as a fighter for Dragon Ball FighterZ. Not a surprise pick, I know, but many will be happy to see the half human, half Saiyan duking it out in the full game. Now, where are Pikkon and Mercenary Tao?

Keegan “Interrobang!?” Spindler, Features Editor:

Frame 1:
slayer portraitdaymendou talks to Shoryuken about playing Slayer, thoughts on sponsorship, and handling tournaments

It’s always fun to hear from an up-and-comer, and daymendou is something of a low tier hero for extra points. This interview is remarkably thoughtful and interesting, which makes it well worth a read.

Frame 2:
Dragon-Ball-FighterZ-Frieza-ReferencesHave a look at all of the anime and manga references found for Goku and Frieza in Dragon Ball FighterZ (so far)

Dragon Ball FighterZ continues to be one of the most exciting fighting game announcements we’ve seen in a long time. With so much excitement, it should be no surprise that people are coming through the footage we have — but the attention to detail shown here is fantastic.

Frame 3:

Capcom enters into cross-licensing agreement with Bandai Namco for “online matching” content development

This is a weird one, thanks to some nebulous wording, but the acknowledgement from both Capcom and Bandai Namco that their online infrastructures need work is an encouraging sign going forward — especially with DBFZ on the horizon!

Extra Frame:
SFV R Mika School CostumeStreet Fighter V is getting more school costumes — for Ibuki, Nash, & R. Mika — on June 27th

Costumes might not be what we want most for Street Fighter V, but that’s what we’re getting: but these are pretty good school outfits for their respective characters, particularly hall-monitor Nash.
