Balance Changes, Omega Mode, Updated Trials, and More Coming in Ultra Street Fighter IV’s Ver.1.04 Patch

Ultra Street Fighter IV itself, with its new characters and balance adjustments, was quite an update itself, but Capcom is set to turn the dial to eleven in the game’s next patch.

Version 1.04 will included a ton of new additions, including the ability to utilize Edition Select online, trials for Ultra’s newcomers (as well as updated challenges for returning fighters), Omega Mode (which will also be available during unranked online player matches), further changes to the game’s balance, bug fixes, and compatibility files for the next set of alternate costumes.

Speaking of alternate costumes, Capcom has provided our first screenshots of the Wild costumes in-game. Below, you’ll find images for Dudley, Gen, and Ryu’s previously revealed outfits, along with brand new looks at Adon, Chun-Li, Decapre, E. Honda, Juri, Ken, Rolento, and Sagat.

Ultra Street Fighter IV’s 1.04 patch will release sometime after Capcom Cup 2014 next month, a little later than the October date announced back in September. As Omega Mode was not originally supposed to be included in this update, one can assume this delay was made so that all the goodies can be added into the game at once.
