NCSoft is ready to bring Aion to Steam Daevas everywhere on Thursday, October 29th. According to NCSoft, this will bringing Aion to Steam as a convenience for existing players.

Gameforge has announced that the v4.8 “Wind of Fate” update has been applied to all EU language variants of Aion. Players will find a world drastically altered since last logging into the game, particularly in Katalam, Sarpan and Tiamaranta. At the same time, two new zones Vengar and Signia have risen out of the sea.

NCSoft has announced that Aion is celebrating its sixth anniversary in style with in-game buffs, lots of interaction with the game GMs and tons of chances to win prizes by following Aion’s social media.

Shugo Emperor’s Vault has returned to Aion and has some new surprises in store that include Conqueror Marks, Ancient Coins, Brazen Aegis Armor, Trillrunerk’s Accessories, Armor Boxes and more.

The Aion site has a new landing page that teases and upcoming expansion called “Upheaval”. There are no other details available at this time but we’ll keep you posted as we learn more.

Aion developers have listened to their community and today’s update is the first step in implementing feature adjustments and game improvements based on that feedback. First off the bat are the new “abbeys” where players who have not logged in for 30+ days can catch up on gear upgrades through a series of daily and one-shot events. In addition, the manastone system has undergone a major upgrade.

Aion online this week continues its epic saga with new content including open world PvP zones Kaldor and Levinshor, new instances, free gifts and new world bosses.

NCSoft has announced that the latest major content expansion for Aion will go live today, Wednesday, November 5th. Called “Invasion”, the patch will give players new zones and content to explore as the backstory behind Aion grows. In addition, a major PvP component has been added called “Panesterra”.
