The Lord of the Rings Online’s upcoming Legendary Worlds, Angmar and the EU-based Mordor, will officially launch on August 1st, bringing the new worlds and their new world event to VIP players.

The Lord of the Rings Online is testing its Mordor legendary server today, stressing the server ahead of its eventual launch.

The next update to The Lord of the Rings Online was tentatively slated to launch on the 23rd of July, but has been pushed back, with the team now aiming for July 31st for Update 41.

In an event organized by players on the Crickhollow server of The Lord of the Rings Online, players are raising money for a player in need in a Walk to Rivendell event this Friday.

Lotro is planning a busy few weeks, with its next major update, Update 41, tentatively slated to launch next week. Additionally, the Hard Tack crafting event is set to kick off a week later on August 1st, with the Forester event starting today.

The Lord of the Rings Online had to delay testing its upcoming Mordor server thanks to a build issue, but the team is currently working towards a new test to kick off tomorrow.

In the latest Cord of the Rings, the Lord of the Rings Online team pulled the veil back on some upcoming content for the long-running MMO, including new legendary servers with an interesting-sounding event.

The time has come once again to celebrate the Midsummer Festival and the Yuletide Festival in Lord of the Rings Online, bringing rewards and fun for a limited time.
