Path of Exile 2 fans will be waiting longer for the chance to go hands on with the upcoming MMOARPG sequel, as the Grinding Gear Games announced the beta has been delayed with a target of end of this year.

Last week, Path of Exile 2’s Jonathan Rogers sat with Kripparrian for an interview to talk about development, balance, WASD movement, combat flow and more. Today, there’s a new live stream happening with more from Rogers and Mark Roberts.

Path of Exile 2’s game director Jonathan Rogers is closing out 2023 with a livestreamed interview with one of Path of Exile’s major content creators, Kripparrian, later today.

As part of today’s livestream, Grinding Gear Games revealed one of the new classes coming to Path of Exile 2 next year, the Mercenary. The class uses a crossbow and incorporates lessons learned from shooters, including adding WASD movement to the ARPG.

It’s been nearly four years since our last major dose of Path of Exile 2 news, but Grinding Gear Games took to the stage today to finally pull the veil back on the ARPG sequel during today’s ExileCon 2023.

If getting to Germany for Gamescom is too far,Grinding Gear Games will have a playable Path of Exile 2 demo at PAX West.
