Free Death week has been extended by another week in RuneScape, letting players take a low risk crack at the recently added Zamorak fight or any other boss. There are new rewards and tweaks too.

Zamorak is coming, and the Wilderness will be reborn in RuneScape Legacy of Zamorak, which will feature scalable difficulty, new enrage system and ranks, graphical overhauls, new story, and more.

It’s summer, so RuneScape is taking everyone back to the beach for beachy activities, lots of XP bonus chances, a showdown with the huge crustacean Clawdia, as well as new rewards.

Jagex is continuing to expand the RuneScape universe, and has announced several new hires for an upcoming open world survival game set in that universe and built in Unreal 5.

After this week, you’ll only be able to use three officially approved third-party clients in Old School RuneScape, due to a new security policy. Plus, the team is looking for player feedback on PvP.

Legacy of Zamorak is coming in July, beginning the next six-month storyline in RuneScape. Jagex has also announced two upcoming peeks at the content to come.

RuneScape is marking Pride Month with a new mini-event, Tales of Pride. Meanwhile, Old School RuneScape is planning some changes to the recently launched minigame, the Giant’s Foundry and preparing for the iOS mobile launch.

Twilight of the Gods, a new lore-heavy quest for RuneScape, is live today to challenge players and gear them up for a difficult fight against dark lord Zamorak next month.

Twilight of the Gods will descend upon RuneScape on June 6th. The lore-heavy member’s-only quest will set you up to confront Zamorak later this summer. Meanwhile, Old School RuneScape prepares to release mobile clients.
