Runescape – 2017 Will Mark the Year of the Expansion

During this past weekend’s Runefest, Jagex made several big announcements, most notably that the company is bringing the expansion mentality into RuneScape. Starting in 2017, every three months, RuneScape will have a new area or region added to the game, something developers are calling a “new substantial part of the world map” and each will place an emphasis on exploration and discovery.
