Following up a week after the Capcom Pro Tour premier event in Japan is another in Birmingham, England. The EGX 2016 convention is going down this weekend, with the CPT tournament as a part of the event.
As you would expect from a premier tournament, quite of few big names from Europe and beyond will be participating. GamerBee, winner of last week’s Japan Cup, Daigo Umehara, Onuki, Bonchan, K-Brad, and Snake Eyez are some of the international names competing, along with European players like Ryan Hart, Luffy, Problem X, Akainu, Cobelcog, Will2pac, CCL, Infexious, Mister Crimson and many more. Pools for the event will go through Friday and Saturday, with the top 32 kicking off on Sunday, starting each day at 11 AM BST (10 AM GMT, 6 AM EDT, 3 AM PDT). You can catch the action on the Capcom Fighters Twitch channel.
