September 22 saw Urien’s official release for Street Fighter V; it comes as no surprise that desk has been all over the recently-added Illuminati. We included his pre/post-release comparison video in our first tech roundup, but here’s three more for followers of the Vice President to consider.
In the first two, desk is up the usual shenanigans of using Urien’s tools–especially Metallic Sphere and Aegis Reflector–to build some elaborate juggles and combos at midscreen or the corner. The second video focuses a bit more on what can be done with the Aegis Reflector’s ability to bounce back projectiles…
… Which includes Ibuki’s V-trigger bomb! In this video, desk examines exploiting this further–as the bomb’s blast itself is reversed on Ibuki if it touches the Reflector, allowing for it to be co-opted into Urien’s own combos.
