Dillian Whyte vacates British heavyweight title

Dillian Whyte (20-1, 15 KOs) has vacated the British heavyweight title so he can pursue a world title fight by the end of the year.
Whyte was ordered to make a defence against Sam Sexton by the British Boxing Board of Control, but he has elected to vacate the belt and seek a world title fight.
In a slugfest last month, Whyte outpointed London rival Dereck Chisora in a eliminator for the WBC heavyweight title, currently held by American Deontay Wilder.
