Return of the King! UDON has a Street Fighter Origins: Sagat mini-series in the works for 2018

It may not be confirmation of his expected arrival in Street Fighter V, but I’m a fan of UDON Entertainment and I’m a fan of Sagat, so I expect this mini-series to be worth the wait.

Frame 2:

Frame 1:
DBFZ CellDragon Ball FighterZ beta sign-ups are delayed until August 22nd, with the beta running from September 16th-18th

Bringing in direct competition with MvC:I, the beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ is now scheduled to run from September 16th-18th. To make up for the delay, Bandai Namco are promising to add at least one extra character to the beta. Fingers crossed for Tien.

Frame 2:
DBFZ Gohan Level 3Both Dragon Ball FighterZ and Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite will be playable at VSFighting 2017

If you’re really hankering to play DBFZ, VSFighting 2017 in the UK will have both it and MvC:I playable! With the tournament already being part of the Capcom Pro Tour, the Tekken World Tour, and the Injustice 2 Pro Series, you’ve got yet another reason to come.

Frame 3:
unistchaosmerkHow to get better at Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st]

Whilst UNIST may have the best tutorial of any fighting game yet, you may still be struggling to wrap your head around French Bread’s anime fighter. Luckily, this extensive guide from Japanese player Ranpo should help you on the path to improvement.

Frame 1:
JiyunacoverShoryuken interview: Jiyuna, the Asia-USA connection

While the players rightly get most of the glory in the FGC, and it is easy to forget just how much goes on behind the scenes. Jiyuna has become a key part of the relationship between the Western and Japanese scenes, and he has a lot of interesting insights.

Frame 2:
AbigailStart your engines! Abigail day one tech roundup for Street Fighter V

As anyone who has played with me will know, my first stop in any fighting game is the big boys. Abigail is incredibly exciting to me, and I’m loving watching the amount of love and labbing that he has inspired.

Frame 3:
Fantasy Strike free weekendPlay a test demo of Fantasy Strike for free this weekend!

David Sirlin is a legendary fighting game head, and his card game Yomi has been entertaining me for years. His take on fighting games is unusual, but his pedigree suggests that it’s worth a try — and since it’s free this weekend, when could be better to dive in?
