New Super Smash Bros. Ultimate overview trailer shows off amiibo leveling, new training options, and more

As we inch closer to the December 7th release date for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Nintendo has been pushing out more and more trailers to hype up the product. While these typically don’t have much in the way of FGC-related info, the latest trailer — designed mostly to show off the voice acting of announcer Xander Mobus — slips in some useful details about the game’s new training mode. Specifically, it looks like it will always show you the exact possible DI (directional influence) routes from any knockback attack.

As vital as a good training mode is, hopefully this is a good sign of the depth Super Smash Bros. Ultimate‘s Training Mode has to offer.
