“Despite being a brawler, he’s one of the best grapplers in the game…” summarizes the plight of balancing Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition‘s Abigail well. Almost no other character has had the strange journey of unnecessary (then quickly reverted) buffs and miscalculated design as the car-crazed Canadian.
While balancing Abigail for a potential Season 4 probably necessitates making other grapplers better comparatively, the minds over at VesperArcade have some ideas on how to keep him strong without making him absurd. It’s probably not a surprise, but a bulk of the conversation centers around his 2-bar VT1, and the overwhelming synergy it has with his large health pool and robbery mechanics.
