Everybody loves an underdog, and if you like watching said underdogs beat the crap out of fellow Nintendo characters with magical spells, then we have the video for you.
SBphiloz4, who is known for their Tatsunoko vs. Capcom combo videos, recently jumped into the handheld version of Super Smash Bros. 4 to show off Hyrule’s reigning monarch, Zelda.
Since 1999, the Super Smash Bros. series has featured approximately 62 different playable characters. Although some of these are clones like Dr. Mario and Lucina, it’s safe to say that these legendary fighters have utilized some of the most memorable attacks in gaming history, including Fox’s reflector, Captain Falcon’s stylish Falcon Punch, and, oh yes, Zelda’s magical lightning kick that makes the world stop when she lands it.
That kick is all over this video, along with neat setups off grabs and flashy kills with her teleport.
While this video focuses on Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, much of the content should be able to transfer over to its Wii U counterpart. Give it a watch and let us know what you think.
