WBA middleweight champion Daniel Jacobs (31-1, 28 KOs) stopped previously undefeated challenger Peter Quillin (32-1-1, 23 KOs) in the first round on Saturday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Jacobs, who has resumed his career after surviving a rare form of bone cancer, rocked former WBO champion Quillin with a series of hard shots before the referee stopped the fight after only 85 seconds.
