AfterDeath Protects Ultra Street Fighter IV’s Russian Skies in Olympic Gaming’s Latest Player Spotlight

Olympic Gaming’s most recent Ultra Street Fighter IV player spotlight centers on AfterDeath, a top Zangief player from the world of ranked matches. In the footage, AfterDeath takes on some of the top-ranked players for their respective characters including AG|Native Impact’s T. Hawk and Jazdero’s Ibuki. The unique approach that a grappler is forced to take in some of the featured matches shows AfterDeath’s ability to go full-on aggressive or play a slower, counter-poke centered game depending on the given situation.

As with other entries in the Player Spotlight series, you’ll find a brief text-based interview in the video’s description. The questions cover all of the basics: hobbies, place of origin, and secondary characters to name a few.

AfterDeath claims two alts–Fei Long and Sagat–but prefers sticking to Zangief unless he’s learning a character to gain the upper hand in a troublesome matchup, which is always a good idea and something we should all strive to do to broaden our understanding of any other fighting title.
