Dragon Ball FighterZ roundup: 2H scaling, Android 16 block pressure, Golden Frieza loops, and more!

Who’s ready for more Dragon Ball FighterZ gameplay? Despite the (lovingly) sarcastic answer of “Not Namco,” DBFZ continues to dominate the minds (and social media feeds) of the FGC. As usual, the more people play the more they discover, and we have just some of those discoveries right here. Let’s jump into today’s submissions!

Leading today is jmcrofts, who covers some system mechanics not taught in DBFZ’s training mode, such as reflect properties and Level 3 DHC’s.

GLHFtv breaks down jump cancel scaling vs. 2H combo filler.

Here’s an absurdly powerful juggle loop for Golden Frieza from Victor Thammavong.

CDV|WhiteBl4ck shows off the giant damage of Goku Black.

As usual, Clayton “Final Showdown” Chapman has some flashy and powerful combos to show off. Check out the Frieza fireball loops, in particular!

Hit’s unusual moveset means he has to take some different combo routes to get decent damage. As Warui Neko-kun shows, though, damage scaling works out pretty well for Hit overall.

SupahFro64 shows off his corner combos with Cell. I kind of wish there were more characters that could whiff special moves mid-combo, purely for showoff-related purposes.

@gramofdata has a meter positive block string with the game’s Goku-dunking grappler, Android 16.

And last but not least, TGN Anime shows off the moveset of Captain Ginyu (and the Ginyu Force!).

As always, if you see anything worth sharing, let us know by submitting a tip for our next roundup. Thanks everyone!
