ESL has confirmed that Street Fighter V will be added to their already exciting ESL One lineup. Street Fighter V will be making history as it’s the first ever fighting game to appear in an ESL major event. The Brooklyn Beatdown will be held on October 1-2, 2016, at the Barclays Center, with a whopping prize pool of $75,000.

Regarding this event, ESL’s Product Manager, Stuart Ewen, had some words to share with fans and players alike, “We’re very excited to bring Street Fighter V to an ESL One event. The Street Fighter community contains some of the most legendary players and moments in esports history, and we hope that with The Brooklyn Beatdown we’ll be helping to realize and relay many more of these moments to Street Fighter V fans worldwide.”
