Chris Eubank Jr (22-1, 17 KOs) dethroned British champion Nick Blackwell (19-4-1, 8 KOs) in the 10th round on Saturday night at Wembley Arena in London.
It was a good action fight that was overshadowed by concern for Blackwell, who was taken from the ring on a stretcher to hospital.
The challenger was landing hard shots to head and body from the start as Blackwell marched forward showing his toughness throughout.
