Filipino Champ, Arturo Sanchez, Ricki Ortiz, and More Get Their Hands on Street Fighter V

The latest public build of Street Fighter V was playable at Canada Cup 2015 this past weekend, allowing a number of top players to get their hands on the game, including recently announced returning character Dhalsim.

RAF was at the event and was able to capture some off-screen footage of these matches. One player that’s featured prominently is PG|Filipino Champ, who, despite focusing more on Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3, is also known for having a deadly Dhalsim in Street Fighter IV.

In the two videos below, Filipino Champ goes up against another top player, Tampa Bison, who takes the latest version of his namesake dictator for a spin.

RAF was also able to play a set with Filipino Champ himself.

Speaking of Tampa Bison, the Florida native was also able to play against Capcom’s own Neidel “Haunts” Crisan, who took the chance to show off some of the things that newcomer Laura can do in a real match.

Of course, RAF wasn’t the only person recording footage at the event. Shoryuken forum regular MarLonLonMilk was also at the event and was able to get some footage of  Team Spooky’s Arturo “Sabin” Sanchez taking on Evil Geniuses’ Ricki Ortiz.

MarLonLonMilk also got to play against Ricki in a Chun-Li mirror.

And finally, Tampa Bison shows up once again to take on a couple of challengers.

Street Fighter V is scheduled to launch for PlayStation 4 and PC on February 16.
