SNK had a pretty sizable booth at Evo Japan. The booth was about twice the size of most other booths at the event, with both a demo area and a shop for players to pick up some merchandise. It’s the former that concerns this article, T as the demo area was dedicated to letting players try out The King of Fighters XIV‘s newly-announced DLC character, Oswald.
For those who weren’t at the event, jiぇfu was able to capture some off-screen footage of him during a play session at the booth. In the footage below, they get a fair bit of testing of Oswald done, including some of his side-switching counter moves (taking control of both sticks).
In addition to this. SNK also had a small SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy setup in between their shop and the demo area. Here, they had cosplayers posing for photos, while some gamplay footage was played on a monitor behind them. jiぇfu also took some off-screen footage of the monitor, capturing a few pre-recorded matches that SNK was playing.
