WBA (super)/IBF/WBC champion Gennady Golovkin (36-0, 33 KOs) will fight American Daniel Jacobs (32-1, 29 KOs) on March 18 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
Both fighters are coming off knockout wins, one day apart in September. Jacobs knocked out former light middleweight world champion Sergio Mora in the seventh round, while the Kazakh fighter stopped IBF welterweight champion Kell Brook in the fifth round.
