British super middleweight George Groves (22-3, 17 KOs) scored a one-sided fifth round stoppage win over Andrea Di Luisa (18-4, 14 KOs) on Saturday night at the Copper Box Arena in London.
After Groves was outpointed by WBC champion Badou Jack last September. he hired new trainer Shane McGuigan – son of former world featherweight champion Barry – and he looked fresh and sharp from the first bell as he easily halted the overmatched Italian.
