Hades Izanami has tormented the BlazBlue universe for years, and now she’s set to join the playable cast in BlazBlue: Central Fiction. In the reveal trailer below, the vicious antagonist proves she’s a force to be dealt with as she tears into Ragna the Bloodedge, Jin Kisaragi, and other members of the cast.

Izanami’s gameplay revolves around a unique float mechanic, which replaces her double jump and is described in similar terms to Zato-1’s flight in Guilty Gear Xrd, and mode shifting. Upon activating her “Yasakani no Magatama” unit, the newcomer gains a brand new collection of attacks but loses the ability to block.
Hades Izanami will become playable when BlazBlue: Central Fiction’s ‘Act2’ update arrives in arcades on January 28.
