The console release of Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR- is drawing near, and with its release, two console-exclusive characters, Raven and Kum Haehyun (and a third promised, but not yet properly revealed Dizzy).
Raven’s shtick is pain and masochism, as that’s one of the few sensations his immortal, regenerating body allows. In-game, this is translated with an excitement meter that fills up as he takes damage, which then empowers his moves and lets him extend combos.
While many of us await getting our hands on this mid-range zoner, Peter Fury, who’s the community manager for European Guilty Gear and BlazBlue, has been teasing short clips of Raven with explanations and short combos, which you can find below.
