Fan projects can take many shapes, from simple fan art to complex fan games. MUGEN is one program that helps fans fulfill their dreams, allowing them to make their own characters, backgrounds, and systems in one neat package. While MUGEN is far from perfect, it has allowed several projects that may have never existed without its accessible setup.
One such project is Hyper DragonBall Z. The folks working on this game have been doing so for a few years now, and have several original characters and an original soundtrack to their name. The latest character they’ve put together is Piccolo, who happened to be declared character of the year on the Mugen Fighters Guild forum.
