A few Ultra Street Fighter IV Capcom Pro Tour events will be going down this week, including The Call of Ragnarok in Norway and EGX in the UK, both ranking tournaments. The headliner however is the premier event, KO Fighting Game Festival (KO FGF) in Kuwait, hosted by WhiteTowerQ8. Scheduled for this Thursday and Friday, KO FGF will taking place at the Kuwait International Fair in West Mishref, with competitions for Ultra Street Fighter IV and Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
As mentioned above, the Ultra Street Fighter IV competition at KO FGF will be a Capcom Pro Tour premier tournament, with one player walking away with a spot in the Capcom Cup finals this December. In addition, the top 16 placers will take home ranking points, key for qualification via the many slots alloted for total points.
Quite of few skilled Street Fighter players will be taking part in the event. In addition to local players like WTQ8|Aziz, WTQ8|Gannoon and WTQ8|Nox2 and other Middle East natives like Latif, you’ll see a number of players from Japan, including YBK|Dashio, YBK|SANTAROU YBK|KichijojiKEN, YBK|-R-, Akimo, RZR|Fuudo and Itazan. RZR|Xian of Singapore and F-Word and FA|Ryan Hart of the UK will also be participating in the event.
