Earlier this morning, news surfaced that, yes, Dead or Alive 5 Last Round will be heading to PC. The announcement came with a brand new look at some of the outfits Koei Tecmo and Team NINJA have planned for the game’s existing cast, but the most interesting details had to do with the teaser they attached to the trailer.
Hmmm, who could that silhouette be in the New Challengers pack? The publisher’s lips are sealed at this point, but the rather focused shot at the end does provide a glimpse of the debuting fighters interesting choice in accessories.
Unlike the returning Cyber Raidou, this character has been confirmed as an entirely new addition to the Dead or Alive cast. She will take advantage of the new Soft Engine, which the developers promise will more accurately portray the human body. While this is sure to have negligible impacts on actual gameplay, it’s sure to improve how the game looks as it transitions to newer platforms.
In any case, more details are scheduled to arrive on January 15, so stay tuned.
Dead or Alive 5 Last Round is scheduled to launch in North America and Europe on February 17 and February 20, respectively.
