As Capcom Cup 2014 grows closer and closer, UltraChen TV’s analysis videos release faster and faster. Over the past few days, a trio of new breakdowns were released through Capcom Fighters, taking a look at three very different fighters: Mad Catz’ Daigo Umehara, ChuChu of CNB e-Sports Club, and GL|Valmaster.
Each of these players took very different paths, both this year and through their competitive careers, to reach this year’s Capcom Cup. Daigo, of course, is one of the best fighting game players to ever pick up an arcade stick, his years of dominance cementing him as one of our scene’s legends. ChuChu from Brazil, on the other hand, is rather new compared to the Beast, but has made his presence known in his region and is looking to play spoiler at the tournament. And Valmaster, the French Chun-Li who only recently rose to prominence, has apparently taken fighting game seriously for only two years, making his strength that much more staggering.
