Persona community figurehead Anne recently put together another great stream focusing on some high-level Persona 4 Arena Ultimax competition out of Japan. Along with fellow American players Bace and TS|LordKnight, she breaks down a brand new match between Tahichi’s Margaret and Mokke’s Yosuke, which was played out online in a first-to-ten format.
Even if you’re not a huge fan of the game, this video (and subsequent releases) do a fantastic job of explaining the decision-making that goes into matches of this caliber, as well as how advanced techniques shape this game into something very unique, even when placed alongside other, more popular airdashers like Guilty Gear and BlazBlue.
With an appearance at Evo 2015 just around the corner, you definitely don’t want to be the only person in the audience who has no idea what’s going on, so give the video below some of your time (it’s almost two hours long, so take breaks!) and see what you can learn.
Be sure to follow Anne on Twitch, as well as Bace and LordKnight on Twitter, for more Persona-related content.
