Put a Stop to Birdie’s EX Bullhead in Street Fighter V

One of the most exciting (and completely frustrating) parts of learning a new fighting game is figuring out how to make opponents pay when they use unsafe attacks. Sadly, doing so isn’t always as easy as it sounds. Birdie’s EX Bullhead in Street Fighter V, for example, pushes those in block stun away while leaving the pudgy pugilist at what feels like massive frame advantage.

Thankfully, he’s quite punishable by almost everyone in the cast (sorry, Rashid). The video below from Honzo Gonzo demonstrates effective punish options against the EX Bullhead both in and out of V-Trigger. Do note that canceling the move into V-Trigger seems to leaves him safe against all of these options, so it’s unlikely that string of attacks, specifically, can be punished.
