Ryu is already one of the most prominent members of the Super Smash Bros. for Wii U roster, due to his iconic status as the central character of the Street Fighter franchise. But TSM|ZeRo believes Ryu is still underplayed and underrated despite his Street Fighter pedigree. He also believes that the shoto has much greater play potential than has been attributed to him, going as far as saying he may be the “best character right now.” ZeRo speculates that community focus on Bayonetta’s abilities has allowed Ryu’s power to slip under the radar and escape being patched out.
