Ryu’s Collarbone Breaker Allows for Big Damage Opportunities in Street Fighter V

In the current build of Street Fighter V, Ryu’s fists hearken back to a time when his overhead was truly something to be feared, as opposed to just a great way to keep opponents on their toes. It seems that the wandering warrior’s collarbone breaker can now be used to open up opponents and pile on damage through a variety of combo options, just like in the good ol’ days.

The video below, from Burnout Fighter, offers a handful of meaty timings and counter-hit setups that allow Ryu to continue his assault with a variety of attacks: a standing strong, a standing jab, or, if he has meter to burn, that broken collarbone can lead right into a Shinkuu Hadoken.
