SoulCalibur VI version 1.02 launches this week, fixes Voldo/Tira meter bugs, Unblockable tech traps

When the Voldo and Tira meter-discount glitches were first discovered in SoulCalibur VI and Namco announced that a patch was in the works, we postulated that it likely would be released soon based off the turn-around time of a very similar bug in Tekken 7 season 1. Namco didn’t disappoint: Version 1.02 is just around the corner. The following patch notes below are via Avoiding The Puddle’s English translation of the original notes found here.

Update Distribution Dates:

PlayStation 4: 14th of November

Xbox One: 16th ~ 19th November (expected update date timing)

PC Steam: 16th of November

Update Contents:

For PS4, XBOX ONE & PC

  • Voldo and Tira bugs where in certain circumstances, they can use Soul Meter mechanics (Soul Charge & Critical Edge) without the necessary amount of meter have been fixed.
  • Geralt & Tira’s unblockable attacks having ‘more reach than intended’ when used in certain situations have been fixed.

For PC

  • Player Ranking Info displaying incorrect player records have been fixed.
