Welcome to the Rollback: a frame-by-frame look back at our past week’s most notable news — and our favorite SRK articles — from November 16 to November 22, 2018!
Zavian “mushin_Z” Sildra, Editor-in-Chief:
Frame 1:
RED BULL CONQUEST Finals results & Capcom Pro Tour North American Regional Finals results
The last big CPT bash in North America didn’t disappoint, especially with CJ Truth letting the world know that he’s a player to watch going forward!
Cody Holiday outfit = a knife-wielding Santa Claus. Count me in.
Frame 3:
Capcom Cup 2018 Analysis: Will Tokido finally hoist the cup?
Missing Person kicks off this year’s round of analysis pieces on the Capcom Cup contenders with the #1 Street Fighter V player in the world, Tokido.
X-Kira is on a streak of correct predictions based on datamined finds, making these reveals very likely to be coming to SFV soon.
Frame 5:
See the impact of Street Fighter’s Chun-Li on the video game industry in this Just Frame video
Her legacy in gaming is great indeed, and this brief video tribute is a worthy nod to the Strongest Woman in the World.

Frame 1:
Equinox Gaming signs European Tekken 7 Josie pro Adnan “Blackbeard” Zaman
Blackbeard’s single tournament point spike was one of my favorite moments of TWT 2017.
Grassroots FGC at its finest here. Go to it, watch it, do something to support this great collaboration.
Frame 3:
“Blade Arcus Rebellion from Shining” announced for PlayStation 4 and Switch
It irritates me that Blade Arcus is getting a sequel when Studio Saizensen could just… continue to support Blade Strangers.
Frame 4:
SoulCalibur VI sales trail behind II’s & IV’s; Game figures 6th on October’s best-selling list
I doubt it’ll ever outsell SCII, but I’d like to see it move past IV eventually.
Frame 5:
TastyJam & UltraChen nominated for Gamers’ Choice Awards as fan-favorite caster duos
I wanted to mention that Scar and Toph, smash commentators, were also nominated and should be equally congratulated. Whoops.
