I don’t think the tension of this round will be topped this year. But I hope I’m wrong! A perfect example of high-level SFV play.

AutoMattock’s Sagat guide breaks down the King’s toolkit in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition

As good or bad as he may be, Sagat is one of my favorite additions to SFVAE, and AutoMattock’s an expert on the King.

Frame 4:
RED BULL CONQUEST: The final showdown in Washington DC is upon us! Competitor list & interview with the hosts and tournament director

Between this and the US Regional Finals for the CPT, it’s a big weekend in DC for SFV — starting today!

Frame 5:
Infiltration withdraws from the 2018 Capcom Pro Tour, as outlined in Capcom’s & Panda Global’s official responses to domestic violence allegations

An unfortunate but understandable (and not unexpected) end to the controversy surrounding one of SFV’s top players. The question is now if he will be able to return and rebuild a reputation in the FGC; only time will tell.

Sakurai decrees no manga-based characters will ever make it into Super Smash Bros. series

This is such a bizarrely specific rejection for a character type that it almost seems like a red herring…

Frame 2:
Qanba is releasing a Japan-exclusive Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2 Obsidian arcade stick

It’s just a great-looking stick. I’m a big fan of this weird Mondrian composition for stick art.

Frame 3:
Dragon Ball FighterZ’s sixth Saga event has banned unlicensed PlayStation controllers from use

I genuinely feel like this is one of the scummiest decisions I’ve seen made to date, and I am so sorry for all those negatively impacted by it.

Frame 4:
Fighting EX Layer launches on PC on November 30, 2018

I’m so happy that Fighting EX Layer has exceeded every expectation the developers had.

Frame 5:
BigBoysToys unveils new T.N.C. figure for Street Fighter II: The World Warrior’s Vega

I love basically everything about this, especially the removable mask.
