WWE Superstars Compete in Ultra Street Fighter IV…with a Painful Twist

While folks are used to seeing the superstars of World Wrestling Entertainment sacrifice their bodies night after night for the sake of awesome matches, a small group recently got together to compete in an entirely different kind of contest: Ultra Street Fighter IV.

Earlier this week, professional wrestler Xavier Woods gathered together a few of his peers to take part in a small double-elimination tournament on his video game channel, Up Up Down Down, the winner of which would be awarded the opportunity to wear the Gamer Gauntlet–basically an LED-adorned Power Glove. The loser, however, faced the pain of being pegged with a tennis ball.

Obviously, you’re not going to want to go into this video looking for Evo-level competition. That’s not what this is about. As a recent convert to the wonders of the WWE, it’s cool to see some its notable figures mess around in a title that’s so important to our community, and it’s pretty funny to boot. Give it a watch below and let us know what you think.
