In a recent tweet, Alex Jebailey has announced that he has left Avyd. For the past five months, Jebailey has been the company’s FGC Director, helping with the company’s efforts to support fighting game events around the country.

Prior to working at Avyd, Alex Jebailey served as community manager for Iron Galaxy Studios, helping with the company work with the community for Killer Instinct after development shifted to them for Season 2.
Avyd CEO, Scotty Tidwell had the following to say on Jebailey’s departure.

With this announcement, Alex Jebailey will now be the full time CEO of Community Effort Orlando, and will be focusing on extending the brand beyond the United States. Already, Jebailey has stated that he has a “an amazing thing lined up that I’ll be announcing in the coming weeks throughout 2017 so you can expect to see me more at events across the globe.”
