Mastery of Yoga allows one to warp time and space–even after KO!
YouTube’s Street Fighter glitch explorer desk is back, with a new video detailing an amusing bug in Street Fighter V. It’s caused when Dhalsim teleports toward his opponent just as a Yoga Fire or Yoga Sunburst makes contact, and deals the last bit of knockout damage; as you can see in the video below, it causes a strange scrolling effect during the game’s “KO” screen-freeze.
desk examines the triggers for this glitch, which seemingly relies on a combination of the game screen trying to center on the fighters, while also kicking into the fast-scroll that occurs when Dhalsim comes out of his teleport, at the moment the game wants to “freeze” the screen for the big KO moment. Not something that has any positive or negative bearing on gameplay, but it can result in some amusing post-KO interactions, as desk also demonstrates above.
