Being a tag team-based game with an assist system, a characters’ assist is going to be an important part of team-building in Dragon Ball FighterZ. It’s arguably even more important here, since each character currently only has one assist available to them.
For those players wondering about what the assists of the character they’re looking into picking up are, AlzarathEX has put together a Google Doc compiling all of the assists of the currently-revealed cast.
The Google Document not only lists every known assists, but also shows animations taken from various streams and videos (some of which we’ve shared below). This is on top of detailing certain important properties of each assist. For example, both versions of Gohan have an invincible uppercut assist that is bound to be useful to support zoning characters.
Meanwhile, Gotenks fires a projectile that tracks the opponent anywhere on screen, while paralyzing them for a decent amount of time on hit.
Interested players can check out the Google Doc here.
Dragon Ball FighterZ hits PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in the West on January 26, followed by Japan on February 1.
