New JUMP FORCE V-Jump scans reveal new story details; Bandai Namco offers first looks at Cell and Piccolo

Prepare to become a J-Hero and fight for both the Real and Jump Worlds!

Following the announcements of Rurouni Kenshin‘s Kenshin Himura and Makoto Shishio, as well as Dragon Ball’s Cell and Piccolo joining the cast of the upcoming JUMP FORCE, we now have translated V-Jump scans courtesy of ShonenGamez and Yonkou Productions. In the spread, we not only get our first look at the four newcomer’s artwork, as well as Death Note NPCs Light Yagami and Ryuk, but we also learn some gameplay details about the two samurai, in addition to further revealing part of the Story and Character Creation Modes.

Known as the “Hitokiri Battousai,” Kenshin will be wielding his iconic reversed blade, with his Awakening attack being “Gods Speed: Heavens Gliding Dragon Flash,” which utilizes his extreme speed to cut down foes. Even if the first attack is evaded, the second strike will still be a 100% lethal blow.

Makoto Shishio will of course fight with his beloved blade, “Mugenjin,” employing his excellent sword-fighting skills to defeat opponents. His Awakening technique is “Tsui no Hiken: Kaguzuchi,” which sees him fill the air with flaming whirlwinds, as well as fire pillars that will erupt from below the ground.

Working alongside “Venoms,” iconic jump villains such as Frieza are aiming to bring down both the Human and J-Worlds. Having been badly injured and near the brink of death, you’re brought to the “Umbras Base,” revived as a J-Hero to join in the battle. Players will be able to choose their gender, battle type, body size, clothing, and more. You can view the full scans below.
