Where every millimeter matters, a “compact” lever may be the answer.
Arcade Shock has opened pre-orders for a new variant on the LS-33 lever from Seimitsu, the LS-33-01 Kai compact joystick. This version is now available both with fastener-type connections, and a new 5-pin connector variation that makes for easier compatibility with retail fight sticks.
From Arcade Shock:
The original LS-33 was produced only in the Fastener type, and its main purpose was to be the most compact lever in their lineup for situations where space is limited. This joystick was used primarily in Japanese arcade cabinets, as this was never implemented in any commercial arcade stick. Over the course of a year in our meetings with Seimitsu, we discussed the possibility of reintroducing an improved version of the LS-33, with one modern feature: offer this with a 5-pin variant as well. All the parts of the LS-33 Kai and the LS-33-01 Kai are identical to the original LS-33, except for the plastic base which is slighter taller. The spring is very light, similar to Sanwa Denshi’s JLF stock joystick.
You can pre-order both versions of the stick now at Arcade Shock for $19.95 USD; orders are expected to start shipping tomorrow, December 5th.
