Shonen Jump worlds collide in the most literal way in the newest JUMP FORCE trailer.
Bandai Namco Entertainment has been releasing bits of information regarding the storyline of the upcoming anime fighter JUMP FORCE with character designs and custom character screenshots, and now players will finally get an in-depth look at the drama the title has to offer. Via malicious villains meddling with our reality and the worlds “collectively known as Jump“, characters from throughout history have clashed and need the player’s help to get things the way they should be.
The trailer gives a good look at the character creator and custom move selection. Players can create a truly unique-looking fighter by utilizing clothing and accessories found throughout Shonen Jump‘s ever-expanding library, as well as mix and match super moves used by both heroes and villains. It also appears that characters can socialize with one another in a world hub, similar to the one included in Bandai Namco Entertainment’s long supported fighter/RPG hybrid, Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. JUMP FORCE is releasing on February 15 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC with pre-order bonuses, an “Ultimate Edition” that grants DLC and three days early access, and a collector’s edition with a slick statue of the publisher’s big three franchises and plenty of other goodies.
Bandai Namco Entertainment has been ramping up their reveals for JUMP FORCE and in just one week five characters were announced including the previously covered Trunks, Renji, and Boa Hancock, the recently announced Asta from the current hit, Black Clover, and now the magazine’s main showrunner, Izuku Midorya from My Hero Academia fame is bringing his strength to the battle.
