Team NINJA has been quite consistent in supporting the Dead or Alive 5 series with additional characters, optional costumes, and various other extras. However, it seems that this may soon come to an end for last generation’s platforms.

The developers revealed earlier today that they may not be able to put out additional content for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round in the future. This is because they are apparently reaching the limit on how much downloadable content they can add on to these consoles due to limits on hardware capacity.

That said, Team NINJA has stated that they are still looking into these restrictions and will inform fans of their plans moving forward as soon as possible.

Dead or Alive 5 Last Round is scheduled to launch in North America and Europe on February 17 and February 20, respectively. It will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
