The mastermind behind CEO and former Iron Galaxy community manager Alex Jebailey has officially joined Avyd as their Program Director for all Fighting Game Community Initiatives. This means Jebailey will be overseeing all FGC operations within the company, including event planning, partnership management, and creating and maintaining interest from the community.
In an interview with Yahoo Esports, Jebailey expressed excitement and optimism regarding the position.
“Avyd’s vision and what they see for eSports and the FGC is all very promising. With my experience hosting FGC events and building communities, I can help Avyd with their foray into the FGC,” Jebailey said.
While this is a fantastic opportunity for Jebailey, he assures everyone that CEO and his other regular tournament commitments will remain unchanged by his new position.
“I’ll continue to run CEO and its events the same way you’ve seen them over the years. CEO has had some great presenting partnerships in the past and Avyd is no different. I wouldn’t be able to put on a production like CEO without partnerships like this,” Jebailey said.
We at Shoryuken wish Jebailey the best in his new position.
