Sometimes the clothes really do make the man, the Mega Man, or should I say, the Proto Man?
Capcom Unity announced twelve new costumes for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, set to release on December 5 alongside the next batch of DLC characters and a huge balance update.
The Cosmic Crusaders pack features costumes for Rocket Raccoon (Rocket Space Suit Costume), Gamora (Gamora Classic Costume, Nova (Nova Prime Costume), X (Special X Costume), Zero (Special Zero Costume), and Strider (Strider Hien Costume).
The Stone Seekers set includes new costumes for Ultron (Ultron Conquest Costume), Thanos (Thanos Annihilation Costume), Spider-Man (Superior Spider-Man Costume), Frank West (Proto Man Costume), Haggar (Metro City Mayor Costume), and Jedah (Makai Messiah Costume).
Each costume pack is priced at $11.99 with the individual costumes available for $3.99. All of these costumes and the eighteen previously released costumes are all included in the Premium Costume Pass for $29.99.
The costumes released so far for Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite have been pretty impressive. It is great to see the redesigned X and Zero make their gameplay debut; Jedah’s new costume is particularly classy as well. The release of the Stone Seekers pack ensures the Superior Spider-Man costume is no longer tied to the digital purchase of Spider-Man: Homecoming. Hopefully, this means that one day Xbox and PC owners could eventually obtain the Major Carol Danvers costume for Captain Marvel, which is currently a PlayStation 4 exclusive, but that might take a little more than hope.
