Catching up with Dragon Ball FighterZ: Janemba available along with Version 1.18, also new gameplay of SSGSS Gogeta, releases on September 26

Rooflemonger breaks down some of the quality-of-life changes in the latest patch!

Hot off the heels of Evo 2019, the latest Season 2 DLC character, Janmeba, is became available in Dragon Ball FighterZ, along with the Version 1.18 patch. In addition to the long-awaited arrival of the Incarnation of Evil from the Fusion Reborn film, this latest update brings some improvements to Z-Trophy Rooms, Party Match, the FighterZ Cup, and Battle History.

Replay data from previous patches has obviously gone extinct, as usual, and there is a new series of Seasonal Z-Capsules available in the Shop to celebrate the season of Summer, giving us new Lobby Avatars, Z-Stamps, Stickers, and Color 16s to spend our hard-earned Zeni on, which deck out each of the Z-Fighters and Villians in a mixture of blue and red that can make some characters like Freiza and Cooler, look like walking blueberries.

You can catch a visual breakdown of all the patch changes below courtesy of Rooflemonger.

Janemba can be purchased individually for $4.99 or as part of the FighterZ Pass 2 for $24.99, which includes the already-released Jiren, Videl, GT Goku, and the upcoming SSGSS Gogeta and Dragon Ball Super version of Broly.

Speaking of the upcoming Gogeta, we got an in-depth look at the character from this weekend’s Tokyo Game Show 2019 along with a release date for the highly anticipated fighter! Check out the gameplay from the stream below and visualize all the epic combos you can create with the fusion fighter’s toolkit. Gogeta will arrive to Dragon Ball FighterZ on September 26!
