Team NINJA has announced that they will be delaying the release of Dead or Alive 5 Last Round’s netplay patch on PC, citing “major issues” discovered in the ongoing beta test. The title was originally scheduled to receive online play at the end of June.

While details weren’t provided as to what these problems are, a cursory glance of the game’s Steam community finds numerous claims of frequent crashes despite the netcode itself being serviceable.

Players who want to keep utilizing the beta to play online can continue to do so, but those who are unable to access the testing version due to its inherent issues will need to opt out and return their game to normal.

At this point in time, Team NINJA cannot offer a new release date for this patch, but promises to keep fans up to date as progress is made.
