“It’s Mahvel Baybee!”
Last night during a special Evo broadcast featuring Joey Cuellar and Mike Ross, the main lineup for Evo 2020 was revealed with a lineup that is sure to surprise players and spectators alike!
Evo 2020 is also an event for multiple tours for titles both on and off the main stage. The tournament is a Master Plus event in the Tekken World Tour 2020, a Platinum Event in the Arc World Tour 2020 for Granblue Fantasy Versus and even BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle which will be a featured title in the Community Evolution Championships, and an Edge Master Plus event for the SoulCalibur VI World Tour 2020.
Players will also be able to compete in the first preview Guilty Gear Strive tournament. This will be hosted on July 31 with more details to be announced once the tournament draws closer.

Mortal Kombat 11 is surprisingly absent from the Evo 2020 lineup, which is sure to disappoint fans and players of the title. That being said, the date for the Final Kombat is set for March 8th, with attendees able to watch the final sixteen kombatants go head to head for the championship title.
Attendees will also be able to experience a first look at the Spawn DLC character trailer along with special appearances by Todd McFarlane, the creator of Spawn, Keith David, the voice of Spawn for MK11 and the HBO animated series, as well as Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, the voice of Shang Tsung in MK11, and Ed Boon, the Creative Director of NeatherRealm Studios and Co-Creator of Mortal Kombat.
